Privacy

There is no account, no sign-up, and no password. We do not ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, or your date of birth. Try-On contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracker, and it does not read your contacts, your location, or your photo library beyond the images you choose yourself.

A photo of you is personal data, and it is treated as the most sensitive thing the app handles.

The base photo you take or choose is stored on your device. Taking it, cropping it, removing its background, and changing its backdrop all run on the phone. Nothing is uploaded during any of that.

When you tap Try On, the base photo and the garment images you picked are uploaded so the try-on can be generated. They are stored encrypted in transit, addressed by unguessable identifiers, and deleted automatically within 1 hour. The result is delivered back to your device and saved there; your history of looks lives on the phone, not on our servers.

One exception is worth naming plainly: if you choose the best-quality background removal on the preview screen, that image is sent for processing at that moment rather than when you tap Try On. The app says so on the screen where you choose it.

Your installation is identified by a random value created on your device. It is not linked to you, to your Apple ID, or to any other app. Against it we store:

Usage counters

How many try-ons the installation has run, so the free allowance and the Premium limit can be enforced.

Purchase status

Whether Premium is active and until when, together with the transaction identifier Apple issues. We never see your payment details.

Try-on records

Status, timestamps, how many garments were involved, and what it cost us to run — never the images themselves, which are already gone.

Device attestation

A public key from Apple's App Attest, which proves requests come from a genuine copy of the app. It identifies the app, not you.

Server logs and rate limiting use your IP address transiently to stop abuse. It is not stored in our database and is not linked to your looks.

Replicate

Runs the try-on and background-removal models on the images you submit, for as long as the generation takes.

Cloudflare R2

Holds those images while they are being processed, until the deletion described above.

Supabase

Hosts the database with the records listed under "What we keep".

Apple

Handles your purchase and provides App Attest. Apple's own privacy policy governs what Apple does with that.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising, profiling, or model training.

Delete all data in the app's Settings removes your photos, your looks, and the installation identifier from the device immediately. Deleting the app does the same. Once the identifier is gone, the counters held against it can no longer be connected to you or to a new installation.

To ask what is held against your installation, or to have it erased on the server, write to support@5room.app from a device with the app installed and we will tell you what to include.

Try-On is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change that affects what leaves your device will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
